The central part of the project is the cycle of 12 workshops for young people who are soon to leave children's home, and the young who live in independent housing units. The interactive workshops cover topics and aim to improve the skills such as goal-setting, problem-solving, life in a small community (flatmates/roommates), housework, cooking, health, job-seeking, university students' life, etc. Workshops' leaders, in the accordance with the need and interest of the participants, provide mentoring support to the young in particular topics.
The young participants from children's homes and independent housing units also participate in the development of a handbook for all young people who are preparing to start an independent living.
The project is implemented in 4 children's homes - "Zagreb" (Zagreb), "Lipik" (Lipik), "St. Ana" (Vinkovci), and "Izvor (English: Well)" (Selce).
